Men’s National Championships

At National level, each year the men’s Masters Australian Championships are contested between representative teams from each state and territory. The Championships are some of the biggest hockey events in the country.

The men’s competition begins with the very competitive over 35s through to an as competitive over 75s division, with each division in between.  Some 1800 players and coaching teams plus supporters descend onto the host city for two weeks of great hockey and even better camaraderie.  While each division is hotly contested, players and the off field teams look forward to the announcement of the teams selected to represent Australia, either for the bi-annual World Cups or the Trans Tasman played against the teams from across the ditch. In 2019 players will head west to the regional cities of Bunbury and Busselton from the National Championships
